Family Therapy

Supporting families in rebuilding trust, safety, and connection

Healing the relationships that make up your family

Creating space for understanding, repair, and connection—one conversation at a time.

When family relationships start to feel tense, distant, or stuck, it can leave everyone feeling unsettled. Maybe small disagreements have turned into big arguments. Maybe silence has replaced connection. Or maybe you just can’t seem to get on the same page—no matter how hard you try.

You’re not failing as a family. You’re human. And every family goes through moments when communication breaks down and old patterns resurface.

Family therapy offers a space to slow down the cycle—where each person can be heard, understood, and supported without blame. It’s not about deciding who’s right or wrong; it’s about creating understanding and rebuilding safety in the relationships that matter most.

In our work together, we look beneath the surface of conflict to understand the protective roles, attachment needs, and unspoken pain that often drive disconnection. Using a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach, I help families communicate in ways that foster empathy instead of defensiveness, and curiosity instead of criticism.

We approach each family system with compassion and neutrality—creating a safe environment where everyone’s voice matters. Sessions may include the whole family, smaller combinations, or individual check-ins, depending on what best supports healing and communication.

Together, we work on:

  • Recognizing and shifting unhelpful interaction patterns
  • Expressing emotions safely and effectively
  • Rebuilding trust and emotional closeness
  • Strengthening boundaries and problem-solving skills
  • Supporting one another through grief, transition, or change

This isn’t about finding a quick fix—it’s about understanding the story you’re all part of, and discovering new ways to relate with honesty, empathy, and connection.

If your family is feeling disconnected, therapy can help you find your way back to one another—one conversation, one moment of understanding, at a time.

You don’t have to have it all figured out—just a willingness to begin
