It’s time for healing that empowers you to reclaim your life and embrace reconnecting to your mind, body, and spirit.

Individual Therapy

By deeply attuning to your story, your emotions, and your experiences, we uncover the layers of your journey and transform pain into a pathway for healing. Together, we’ll explore the unique strengths and resilience that make you who you are, creating a safe and empowering space for growth and self-discovery. Trauma therapy isn’t just about addressing what’s happened; it’s about rediscovering your essence and moving toward a life where you can truly thrive.

On this transformative journey, we will be your guides as we navigate the complexities of your inner world. Through compassion and evidence-based techniques, we’ll work together to help you process what’s been holding you back and open yourself to the life-changing impact that healing can bring.

The Individual Therapy Experience

A DEEPLY INTENTIONAL PROCESS THAT BEGINS YOUR JOURNEY TOWARD HEALING

History Taking and Assessment

PREPARATION + SAFTEY

By creating a foundation of safety and compassion, we’ll gently explore your history, uncover your unique strengths, and equip you with the tools needed to begin your journey. If you choose one of our virtual clinicians, you can do this all from the comfort of your own home!

Treatment Planning

SETTING GOALS + RESOURCING

After our dive into history, we’ll identify the core memories and beliefs connected to your present experience, creating a clear foundation for treatment planning. This is where your therapist will collaborate with you to choose 3 goals for therapy. Each goal lasts for about 3 months and then goals will be reassessed and changed based on your need. We will help you understand the connections between your past and present, empowering you to step into your most authentic self.

PROCESSING

WORKING THROUGH MEMORIES + CONNECTING TO SELF

Once we’ve chosen a starting point, we begin working through the trauma in a process called "reprocessing." This is because traumatic memories can get "stuck" in the mind and body, and reprocessing helps your brain handle them it a healthier, more adaptive way. During the processing phase, we also focus on deepening your connection to your core self while nurturing any parts of you that arise, such as your inner child, teenager, or young adult. This process fosters healing and integration across all aspects of who you are.

RE-ASSESSMENT AND MAINTENANCE

ASSESSING + USING RESOURCES

In this phase, we focus on identifying any unresolved trauma that may still be affecting your mind and body. At the same time, you work on practicing skills outside of therapy to help you feel more grounded, safe, and empowered. We regularly revisit your goals to evaluate whether they’ve been achieved or need adjustment. During this process, we also assess your progress to determine if you’re approaching closure and are ready for termination, depending on your timeline and preferences. Some clients choose therapy for 6 months to a year, while others opt for long-term support and continue with us for several years. Your therapy journey is entirely personalized to fit your unique needs and goals.

QUESTIONS?

LET’S GET THOSE ANSWERED!

  • Do you take insurance?

We’ve made the decision not to work directly with insurance at this time. After over six years of experience with insurance companies, we found that managed care often made it challenging to provide therapy from a truly trauma-informed perspective. One advantage of cash-pay services is that therapy can remain focused on your unique needs, without requiring a mental health diagnosis. Additionally, this approach allows for greater flexibility—there are no constraints on the number of sessions or the length of time you can be in therapy, giving you the freedom to progress at your own pace.

  • What is the investment for therapy?

We have two different rates for therapy. For licensed clinicians, our rate for a 50 minute session is $175. For associates working toward licensure and still receiving professional supervision, our rate is $125 for a 50 minute session.

  • How long should I expect to be in therapy?

We find this to be a very personalized question. If you want to complete one target memory that was a single incident, it may take about 3 months. For complex, chronic, trauma processing, 1 year mimimum is recommended.

  • How do I find a therapist who is a good fit?

We care deeply about you finding a therapist that feels like a good fit, and we know that each of us will not be the right fit for everyone. We have an open door policy where you can come and speak to us about changing therapists, or receiving outside referrals if desired.

  • What can I do between sessions to support my healing?

Your therapist will give you a variety of skills and tools to practice in between sessions to work on self-regulation. One of the most important things you can do between sessions is practicing noticing, naming, and validating emotions as well as identifying where they are in the body.

You deserve a space where your inner work is fully seen, celebrated, and supported, reflecting the true QUALITY of your growth and change.
